Shopping for your baby is not an easy thing to do. Being a mother, I find buying baby stuff difficult sometimes not because of the lack of choices, but because there were simply too many! Especially when it comes to baby shoes, there are a whole lot of baby name brand shoes to choose from, not to mention there are many types as well. From firstwalkers, prewalkers, booties, Mary Janes, soft sole and hard sole shoes, you have to carefully consider what shoes to buy for your baby depending on her size, outfit, and the weather or season.
I have a baby girl and there are still a few months to go before she will be able to take her first few steps. Walking is very important milestone for both baby and parents, and it is essential to pick the right shoe to make your child’s early walking experience a very comfortable, not to mention, a fashionable one.
I am a big fan of Mary Jane shoes because of the classic and feminine design, and it never goes out of style. There are a lot of styles to choose from for baby Mary Janes from the dressy black patent type to the casual and comfy casual skimmers or ballerina flats type, I personally prefer the ballerina flats Mary Janes because the plain black patents have a very school girly and formal appeal which is a little dull for me. Plus, these shoes are comfy so you wouldn’t worry about your little girl’s delicate feet.
Being a first-time mom, I was surprised at first that a lot of baby stuff are expensive, and that includes shoes. To my amusement, some are even pricier than adult shoes. It is important to scout first the types of baby shoes available to find the best pair in terms of comfort, durability, design, and price. Some stores offer the same brand at a much lower price (although not necessarily the same style).

It has a printed leather upper with bow and a lightly padded leather lining and footbed. The downside is that these little things costs $74.50 on sale!
Whatever style or brand you choose, always keep in mind that comfort should always be the priority. You don’t want your little one’s feet to have blisters. The good news is since there are countless brands and styles available, you could always choose a comfortable pair – without shelling out an arm and a leg, and sacrificing style.
